DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE WORKS ENGINE TEST BED PROJECT FOR INDIAN RAILWAYS

For Indian Railways, we executed 4 Nos Engine test bed project to test 2600 HP Diesel Engines. The project includes Civil, Electrical,Fuel Oil System, Lube Oil System, Cooling water circuit, Heat exchangers, Cooling Towers etc. For this project we have also supplied 10 MW capacity water rheostat load boxes. Installed piping in various sizes and 10 kms long electrical cabling for carrying 10400 HP of power produced during the testing of engines. This project includes supply of around 300 transducers to transmit pressure, temperature, RPM, Displacement, Differential pressure, Current, Voltage, etc., to data acquisition systems. We also developed the software package for testing the performance of 1350 HP and 2600 HP Loco Engines.
