It is intimated that Acoustic system of CCP-2 has been commissioned on 03-05-95 and taken over by us on 26-5-95. The system installed as a whole is working satisfactorily since then. It was supposed to bring down the noise level within 85dba as per our Tender specification. After testing by Environment control department on 03-05-95 its noise level was below 85dba. Also in many places noise level was found 80dba and average so this system is finally acceptable to us.

This is to certify that the Discharge Silencer manufactured by Acoustics India for the waste Gas Fan of 0.928 million m³/hr at 160⁰ capacity, is working satisfactorily at our Sinter Plant No.2. The noise level after installation of the Silencer is measured as 83.6 dBa as against a guranteed Noise level of 85 dBa.

M/s. ACOUSTICS INDIA, has supplied and erected a sound proof enclosure for 110KVA DG set at our works and the performance of the enclosure is found to be satisfactory since 18 months of installation. We have achieved 84.6dBA (averaged over six samples) noise level at a distance of 1 meter around the DG set as against guaranteed noise level of 85dBA.
